Take Time to Nurture You

Life is hard on our bodies. Sometimes, we push beyond our limits. Other times, we unintentionally cause trauma just by living out our day-to-day routine. The good news is, regardless of the cause, suffering with pain, discomfort, or immobility is not something you have to accept as a way of life.

Just as injuries result from many different sources, healing also comes in many forms. Orthopedic trauma, for example, such as a mild sprain, can usually be treated and healed in just a few weeks. More severe injuries may require surgery, followed by several months of rehabilitation.

There are also injuries that occur at a deeper level, such as soft tissue damage from radiation therapy, trauma from motor vehicle accidents, sports injuries, or other physical strain. These more serious impairments often require extended care over a longer period of time. True healing in these cases takes sustained effort and focus from both the client and the practitioner.

Again, there is hope. With over 24 years of experience as a physical therapist and more than 16 years as a Certified Lymphedema Therapist, I have seen the challenges that come with long-term restorative care. In many traditional outpatient settings, it became difficult to provide the deep, intentional focus needed for full recovery. While some pain and dysfunction would improve, other issues remained and required more individualized attention.

Through this realization, I developed a personalized program focused on restoring the body over time. It creates space for the body, mind, and spirit to heal more fully. In a calm and nurturing environment, clients and I work closely together to tune in to what the body is communicating. This focused partnership allows for a deeper, more effective healing process.

Blending clinical care with meaningful connection has been a long-held vision of mine. I look forward to working with you and walking alongside you on your journey toward full healing and a stronger, healthier you.

Sincerely,
Kelly
